tryiing to identify a type of worm found in my lily of the valley of the plant. 1-2 inches, cream color?
which is approximately twice the thickness of a human hair. no obvious segmentation. moves a lot when touched.

I am planting a Flower Garden from seed in Yucca Valley CA, what flowers grow best in that desert area?
I'm moving to Yucca Valley January (Ohio) and want to be ready to plant the seeds in the spring. I want the flowers that grow in natural desert soil without addition of topsoil and those who do not need much water after they are established. I have a lot of room to work with what I want to make areas of wildflowers and regular. Ive been doing tons of searches, but surprisingly can not find a book or source of the flowers in the desert, I am trying to solve it by searching: arid soil, sandy soil, Zone 9, Full Sun, etc. and then try to select those common to all lists. Unfortunately, while I found a useful lsome about the wildflowers, I found very little information on * regular * flowers .. So if somebody has experience with the flower garden in the Mojave Desert / Desert, any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much. Mykiel
Hello Mykiel my grandfather who lived in Phoenix, she loved her roses that loved the hot weather and dry (no mushrooms, black spot or mildew) that I always like wildflowers in spring and the rainfall record a couple of years, the flowers bloomed in the Valley Death, now we moved back to the rain (I live in Seattle, WA (Flooding everywhere)) wants to come and take water all you want now. Sorry again to water wildflowers will grow through growing season in mid summer, if they have enough water (pray for rain) Have you looked at the Sunset Western VE Book.I Garden 'had a copy of twenty years in my second book now. I would like to sow Wildflower Seeds as soon as possible, because they have roots early, even in the snow to race, above all others for rituals, I love me some wild flowers Send image of their achievements I would love to see him good luck and gods be with you (I'm part American Indian) I have some succulents that would be interesting to try to Get One is from Russia and the other is a beautiful gray brown tipped pills the size of a dime, very very good luck again Chris
